The Nuremberg Ice Tigers have maintained their small chance of direct entry into the play-off quarterfinals of the DEL. The medium francs defeated the Iserlohn Roosters clearly with 6: 2 (1: 0, 2: 1, 3: 1) and pushed closer to the fishtown pinguins Bremerhaven on the coveted sixth place. Daniel Schmölz (18., 57.), Dane Fox (25th, 43.), Tim Bender (37.) and Tim Fleischer (58.) achieved the Nuremberg hits. Joe Whitney (23.) and Alec McCrea (55th) were successful for the deep in the basement club from Iserlohn. Despite the defeat, however, the class preservation of the Roosters should no longer be seriously in danger. ## Statistics for the game: ### Nürnberg Ice Tigers - Iserlohn Roosters 6: 2 (1: 0, 2: 1, 3: 1) Goals: 1: 0 Schmölz (17:57), 1: 1 Whitney (22:27), 2: 1 Fox (24:01), 3: 1 Bender (36:28), 4: 1 Fox (42:08), 4: 2 McCrea (54:43), 5: 2 Schmolz (56:04), 6: 2 Butchers (57:50) Puncture: Nuremberg 10 - Iserlohn 6 Viewers: 2504
