Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl Streamer gets a legendary brightness after 10,000 attempts
Since the concept of Shiny Pokémon was introduced in Pokemon gold and silver, players have done everything possible to obtain them, often with little to show. That is still the case in Pokemon brilliant diamond and brilliant pearl in Nintendo Switch. The TWITCH CALEBHART42 transmitter discovered how long the process can take, trying more than 10,000 times to get a Shiny Rayquaza. The transmitter apparently spent 167 hours before obtaining the Shiny in attempt 10.140. Naturally, the streamer was quite excited when he finally appeared Shiny Rayquaza!
You can find a video that shows the moment in the Tweet embedded below.
For those who are not familiar with the concept of Shiny Pokémon, mostly they are identical to their normal colored counterparts, they simply offer different color schemes. Sometimes, Shiny Pokémon offers significantly different colors of the norm, but other times, changes are much more subtle. Naturally, the Pokemon who offer greater deviations tend to be more popular among the players. These differences in coloring are enough for some players to spend countless hours hunting Shiny Pokemon, either through legendary meetings like this or incubating hundreds of eggs. In the case of Rayquaza, he would have required Calebhart42 to keep, start a meeting, verify the color and then turn off and restart the game.
Rayquaza is not a Pokemon that appeared in the original version of Pokemon diamond and pearl. The legendary appeared for the first time in Pokemon Ruby and sapphire, but shiny and bright pearl, have added new meetings with several legendary Pokemon who cover the series. Some of these are specific for each version of the game, while others, such as Rayquaza, can be obtained in both brightness and brightness. Of course, the players who want to get a Shiny version will have to make an effort, just as Callebhart42 did!
Pokemon Bright diamond and bright pearl is now available, exclusively in Nintendo Switch. Readers can consult our previous game coverage here.
