Can: "If I'm needed, I do not say no" - national

The EM is ticked out, the holiday over: Emre Can has returned to Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday. On Friday against Bologna and thus in the last test match of the BVB before the mandatory position at third division Wiesbaden the 27-year-old is still missing, for the cup game next Saturday, however, he wants to mix again despite the short preparation time - provided that the new coach Marco Rose is desired.

"Everyone knows that we do not have optimal preparation," said Can on Thursday in the BVB training camp in Bad Ragaz. "But we are not allowed to moan, many clubs are similar. We have to try to give gas and put a good start. Even if you may not be 100 percent fit." For the Defensivallrounder is therefore clear in view of the current personnel bottleneck in the Dortmund: "If I'm needed, I do not say no. The batteries are fully filled."

The batteries are completely filled.

CAN wants to board the team training either on Saturday or at the beginning of the coming week. Until then, he works individually on his fitness, which he could not grind according to their own statement on vacation. For a week, after the EM-Off with the German team in the European Championship, the legs against England raised his legs, "then I was running again and did exercises in their direction." At the latest in a few weeks he was again at 100 percent, because "I will not start at zero now".
