PlayStation Showcase in September: Insider believe in God of War 2 and Great

In the coming week, there is finally new information about PS5 games. Sony has announced an extensive showcase for the 9th of September, but not what games are shown. Of course, this leads to speculation in the community. Probably the most common rumor: God of War 2 (the exact name we still do not know) will have a brilliant appearance.

God of War 2 on the PlayStation Showcase?

God of War 2 (Ragnarok) should originally appear 2021, but was postponed to an indefinite time. Since the announce teaser before just a year ago, we have not seen anything from the hot expected Sequel to one of the best rated PS4 games. No wonder that Gow 2 is at the top of the wish list at many.

Fans want to see Kratos: Just because the community wishes something, it does not have to happen for a long time. But it is already conspicuous that the overwhelming majority in the comments on Twitter for a presentation of God of War 2 pronounced in the Sony stream. Not only do they want the fans, they obviously believe in a presence of Kratos and Atreus.

Known insiders jump a: Leaker Nick even wants to have a tangible proof that we will see God of War 2 on the Playstation Showcase. Even the chat course with an alleged insider source was posted. I only ask again, writes Nick. Is God Of War [On The Showcase]? His contact answers simply: Yes.

Also interesting is the statement of Andy Robinson. The editor at the Gaming Portal VGC writes on Twitter that it was told, there will be super announcements on the showcase. Of course, we do not know what that means concrete, but maybe the statement is related to God of War 2.

We ask for you at Sony, whether God of was 2 part of the showcase will be on September 9th.

The teaser to Gow 2 appeared almost a year ago:

Current developments to God of War 2:

  • God of War: Ragnarok should be like The Last of US 2 and let us play Atrus
  • God of War 2-team will be threatened after shifting desert - Director is protecting that
  • God of War: Ragnarok does not even say God of War: Ragnarok, says Sony

It could otherwise be on the showcase

PlayStation fans have long been waiting for a full-fledged showcase with gameplay trailers to various blockbusters and ideally also with some new announcements. Relatively sure, Horizon Forbidden West is shown, which appears in February 2022.

Other hot tips are Final Fantasy 16, the PS5 version of GTA 5 and God of War. Maybe Deathloop also gets a new trailer again. The innovative shooter appears a few days after the presentation, on 14 September.

What do you expect from God of War 2?
